Camping and glamping in New York are about as classic as it gets. Like, Norman Rockwell classic. And with nineteen million acres of forest land, there is plenty of room to spread out and soak up the great outdoors.
When you add the fact that there are more than 7,000 lakes and ponds, plus the Adirondack, Catskill and (a good chunk of) the Appalachian mountain ranges, you get the picture that it is get-out-and-smell-the-pine-trees camping and glamping wonderland. It’s hard for us to say where the best camping in upstate New York is, but, luckily, there are hundreds of Tentrr campsites to choose from.
